Catholic Charities Elder Ministry - "Caregiving From the Heart"

From being named American Heart Month to containing Valentine’s Day, February is synonymous with love and hearts but February is also home to another day filled with heart, National Caregivers Day.  The third Friday of February is a day to recognize the love and care given by caregivers who are making big differences in the lives of others.

As rewarding and fulfilling as caregiving can be, it can also give rise to stress and frustration.  So how can a caregiver find support for themselves and for the one that they are caring for?  Join us to explore ways that we can support caregivers and learn about resources available for the care recipient and caregiver.

Heart Healthy Eating Webinar by Catholic Charities Elder Ministry

Catholic Charities Elder Ministry will be hosting a FREE webinar “Heart Healthy Eating” on Monday, February 28th at 2 p.m.

Please join us as Margaret White, Aging Specialist with Centralina Area Agency on Aging explores steps that can help us protect our hearts and reduce the risk of developing heart disease.

Catholic Men's Conference of the Carolinas

The upcoming conference at St. Thomas Aquinas is coming up on March 5, 2022.  This year we have one of the best lineups ever including Dr. Ray Guarendi, Catholic Answers own Tim Staples, Keith Nester, Dr. John Acquaviva, and our own Bishop Peter Jugis and the seminarians and priests of the Diocese of Charlotte.

This is our 12th year in Charlotte and our goal is to help the men of our diocese become the men, fathers, and husbands God has called them to be.  It is a day of faith, fellowship, and prayer to help inspire and motivate men to become their best!
